This is nacho average family style snack.
A mom of 12 pooled her resources and treated her brood to a Tex-Mex-inspired nacho platter — complete with tortilla chips, ground beef, a gooey cheese sauce, veggies, and a sour cream drizzle, as seen in a now-viral video.
And she served the shareable chow to her kids in a tiny pool, which grossed-out haters say is utterly “insane.”
“[Snack] board got an upgrade to a #NachoPool for Cinco de Mayo,” Alicia Dougherty, 42, of New York, wrote in the caption of her popular TikTok confessional.
“Nacho pool party for my 12 kids,” she added in the caption of the clip, which has been viewed more than 1.9 million times.
In the video, Dougherty — who, along with husband Josh, 44, is raising a blended family of biological and adopted toddlers ranging in age from 4 to 17 — is seen building the surprise appetizer in a blue paddling pool, which is usually used to cool off. cooling. of babies.
After tossing several bags of tortilla chips into the bowl, she smothered the crunchy bites with a smorgasbord of toppings.
The short clip ended with her trunk bulging toward the colossal chip bowl and stocking up with no plates, silverware, or napkins.
And while Dougherty’s no-nonsense feast may have been the handiest way to feed her home crowd, detractors are disgusted by the display.
“This is mean,” one cyber critic wrote in response to the video.

“At what point do we start thinking, ‘This is insane?’ because I think you’ve passed that point,” wrote an equally troubled commenter.
“My mom would call this sloppy,” added another, followed by a separate objector who said, “I’m beyond disgusting.”
However, fans of Dougherty’s unconventional dish applauded her creatively compliant spread.
“Have 12 kids – feed them from a trough. Makes sense,” one viewer joked.
“People are so critical these days! That sounds like so much fun!” another supporter encouraged.
“That’s the best non-pool use ever for a pool,” said another, to which Dougherty said, “Lmao.”
