iQOO Pad design and price leaked ahead of launch; Tipped to include Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

It is rumored that iQOO will launch its first Android tablet later this month. According to a recent leak, the company will launch the iQOO Pad on May 23. iQOO will probably confirm the details soon. The tablet is likely to debut alongside the upcoming Neo 8 series in China. At the time, the leak did not reveal any details about the iQOO tablet other than the launch date. Now, a new leak on Weibo has revealed the design render of the upcoming iQOO Tab ahead of its launch.

The leaked design renders show the front and back of the iQOO Pad. The tipster also revealed some other details about the Android tablet. Let’s take a look at the design, specs and other details of the iQOO Pad.

iQOO Pad specs leaked

The iQOO Pad will likely be a premium Android tablet. The company is expected to launch its first Android Tab on May 23. However, a new leak has revealed the pre-launch design of the iQOO tablet.

The image shows that the tablet has somewhat thick bezels around the screen. The front camera is on the higher edge, which is essentially the right edge when held vertically.

While the exact screen size is unknown, the tipster revealed that the iQOO Pad’s screen could be about 12 inches high diagonally. The device draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The choice of SoC pits the iQOO Pad against the OnePlus Pad, launched with a Dimensity 9000 SoC in India and China.

In addition, the Weibo leak revealed that the iQOO tablet would feature an all-metal design. For an enhanced multimedia experience, the tablet has a four-speaker setup. On the back is a small square camera module for the dual-camera setup with an LED flash. We can also see some Pogo connector pins on the bottom.

The tipster claimed that the price of the upcoming iQOO tablet will be set between CNY 2,000 and CNY 2,500 (approximately Rs 23,600-Rs 29,500). When it launches in India, we can expect the price of the iQOO Pad to be slightly higher.

The tipster has not revealed the RAM, storage, battery capacity and charging details of the iQOO tab. Also, the company has not confirmed any details about the launch of the rumored Android tablet. That’s why we recommend taking the leaked details with a grain of salt until they’re officially confirmed.
