The Emmy award-winning sports comedy will air again on Apple TV+ Wednesday for its latest episode, with Coach Lasso (Sudeikis), new assistant coach Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) and the entire AFC Richmond crew returning to the field for a new season.

The third chapter of Ted Lasso follows the excellent second season, which premiered in 2021 and took home a bunch of Emmys, including Best Outstanding Comedy Series, and previously earned Sudeikis, Waddingham, and Goldstein trophies for their work.
As for what fans can expect, Apple TV+ hasn’t revealed many details about upcoming episodes, but says this season “newly promoted AFC Richmond is being ridiculed as media predictions widely see them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the ‘prodigy’, has joined Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United.”
And as viewers saw in the second round, Apple explains that Coach Lasso continues to “struggle with his own personal issues at home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on beating Rupert, and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates as the boss of her own PR agency. Both on and off the field everything seems to be falling apart, but Team Lasso will do its utmost no matter what.”
