Tensions are dangerously high at Wal Mart in Auburn

Last night about 6 p.m., my wife Nelly and I drove to Wal Mart in Auburn. It was packed. We were under the impression that it was due to the approaching storm on Tuesday.

As we got out of the car and started walking across the parking lot, I immediately heard screaming and cursing. I looked where the voices were coming from and saw a man and a woman yelling at each other in their vehicle. Shortly afterwards, the woman kicked the man out of the car and continued to scream.

He was knocking on her door and before I could finish the first Wal Mart soap something else caught my eye.

This happened on the other side of the parking lot, in front of the store. This was much worse.

I immediately started filming because I really believed that the police would need footage.

As you can hear in the video it was loud, jarring and dangerous as a 2 ton vehicle was involved. I’ll tell you now what you didn’t see.

As I walked to the front of the store I saw a woman outside a truck on the right side. There was also a passenger in the vehicle. The male driver in the truck screamed at the top of his lungs at this woman and he wouldn’t stop and wouldn’t stop.

She walked away from the vehicle toward the store entrance and he was still screaming. At that point I had to cross the road. As I started to cross he put his car in drive and blazed in our direction.

He saw us but didn’t slow down, we walked faster and he just sped past us. Then I lifted the camera.

Thank goodness no one was hurt. I’m not going to understand people or the way they decide to behave, but it’s just that, a decision.

He chose to continue yelling and screaming and driving recklessly and erratically through a crowded parking lot, with no concern for the well-being of others. So even though I don’t try to understand people’s habits, I will never tolerate cruel decisions that endanger the lives of the public.

I’m writing this because I’ve seen too many fights at Wal Mart in Auburn. It’s just a fact of mine.

I know wickedness is everywhere, but I’ve never seen this happen at any other local grocery store. Are there security guards posting at Wal Mart?

Suffice it to say I will probably order more online.

Finally, no, the infamous Pole was not injured in the above conflict.
