According to Weibo tipster Setsuna Digital, Apple will launch new color options this spring. According to MacRumors, Apple’s PR team is planning a product briefing for the next few days. Taking all this into account, the new yellow color options seem to be coming soon.
A new yellow color to save the iPhone 14 Plus
It is worth noting that this is not the most reliable source of information. Setsuna Digital doesn’t have a track record like other tipsters. Still, the rumors seem to line up with Apple’s forthcoming product briefing next week. Moreover, the reliable folks at 9to5Mac indicate that Apple is really planning to launch a new iPhone 14 and 14 Plus yellow color option. This new color will bring nostalgia to old-school Apple fans.
As a reminder, the yellow color reached some classic iPhone models such as the iPhone XR and the iPhone 5C. The latter was actually the first iPhone to bet on fancy colorways, which was probably the most successful strategy in the now-defunct C-Series lineup. The iPhone XR was a success due to its attractive price and multiple color options. We are curious whether the new yellow color can bring a breath of fresh air to the iPhone 14 Plus.
