¾ cup rajma (soaked), 2 tsp oil, 1 tsp cumin, 1 bay leaf, 2 cardamom pods, 2 cloves, 2 onions (grated), 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 3 tomatoes pureed, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 3 cups water (divided) For tempering: 1 tsp ghee, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp ginger, 1 tsp garlic, 1 tsp kasuri methi, ½ tsp garam masala, 2 tsp chopped coriander
