CHICAGO (WLS) — The holidays are stressful for adults, but it can also be stressful for kids.
Some of the reasons are changes in their routine, diet and long-distance travel.

Gulla said each child’s stress is based individually, but some symptoms to watch out for include irritability, withdrawal from activities and poor school performance.
Gulla’s revolves around Teddy the Pomeranian who learns an important life lesson while walking to school.
“Life gets hard and when it gets hard, they have to keep going,” Gulla said.
