TrueCare, a San Marcos-based community health care provider, opened a same-day QuickCare health care clinic at 1595 Grand Ave. off State Route 78, near the Las Posas exit in San Marcos.
The TrueCare West San Marcos QuickCare is designed to provide non-emergency care for health conditions that require immediate attention.
Patients can receive care for a variety of medical services by making an appointment just before seeing a doctor or other health care provider.
The clinic includes nine examination rooms to get medical help faster for non-urgent illnesses such as flu, cough and cold; respiratory diseases such as allergies, sinus infections and bronchitis; minor injuries such as sprains, fractures, and burns; and skin conditions such as rashes, lesions, warts, infections and eye/ear/nose and throat conditions; along with vaccinations and COVID-19 testing.
The clinic, which opened on September 15, is headed by Dr. Devarshi Nath, Clinical Director of QuickCare. Nath over the past 11 years led the opening of two other QuickCare facilities in Oceanside on Crouch Street and in San Marcos on Valpreda Road. TrueCare also operates nine health centers in North County and a mobile wellness unit.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Patients can call or text (760) 736-6767 in English or Spanish to make an appointment before arriving at the site.
