Fall 2022 Road to Retirement Event Closes Today;  sessions take place until 5pm ET

The three-day Road to Retirement virtual event in the fall of 2022 will conclude today (September 23) with the final session starting at 4 p.m. ET. On-demand and live presentations are planned; Sessions that require registration can still be attended if interested parties register before the session start time.

The full program is online. Pre-recorded sessions will remain on the website after the conference ends to allow for additional viewing opportunities.


Feedback requested from event attendees

To ensure that the information shared during each Road to Retirement event is what employees need and want, Human Resources will send a short survey to attendees of the live event next week so they can share their feedback. Purdue University does not collect any personally identifiable information in this survey and all information will be treated in the strictest confidence. The information will only be used to improve communications about retirement and future events, including the upcoming Spring 2023 Road to Retirement program.

  • Retirement Readiness – Helps ensure people are asking the right questions at the right time.
  • Beneficiary Management – Describes various Purdue benefits programs that provide beneficiaries and steps to take to update information.
  • Interactive Retirement Guide – Guides employees through university employment actions (re-hiring, transfer, re-hire, etc.) and how they affect eligibility for retirement plans.
  • Defined Contribution Retirement Plan Committee – University committee provides an additional level of review and oversight of the selected retirement plan investments, including monitoring the performance and all associated fees of funds held on the current Fidelity registration platform.
