GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Sept. 20, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Carrick Institute, the world leader in clinical neuroscience education, today announced that they will be hosting a 1-day Concussion Bootcamp workshop and keynote session at the 37th Annual FIMS (International Federation of Sports Medicine) World Congress 2022. The event will take place September 22-25, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Andares Guadalajara, with pre-congress workshops to be held on September 21, 2022.

The focus of both the workshop and the keynote will be on the functional neurological management of concussion (FN-MOC) and will address the various related topics including the phenotyping and management of concussion. dr. Matthew Antonucci, faculty member of the Carrick Institute, will deliver both the workshop and the keynote. dr. Antonucci is an associate professor of clinical neurology and a concussion specialist who serves on multiple boards, including the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation and the American College of Functional Neurology.
