Novotel Goa Candolim has appointed Pritpal Singh Bakshi as their master chef. With over 33 years of rich experience, the award-winning creative chef has worked in Thai, Lebanese, Russian and other varied cuisines with a taste for Indian food.

While his specialization focuses on North Indian cuisine, most notably his signature Mutton Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken, Bakshi is a multi-cuisine chef and has won numerous awards for best food and hospitality, including a gold medal from The World Masterchef Association, USA He has traveled to over 15 countries and loves to discover and learn from the cultures and cuisines of all the places he visits.

Born in New Delhi, Bakshi has worked in multiple national and international chains such as the Oberoi group and the Broadway hotel chain in Jammu and Kashmir. He has also worked in Bangkok, Chennai and Bengaluru, where he has mastered his craft and today, following such a rich repertoire, he is a dedicated culinary advocate.

In his new role, he will be responsible for positioning Novotel Candolim Goa’s culinary journey and leading the kitchen team in identifying new and innovative culinary techniques to provide exemplary service to guests.
