BOCA RATON, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES, Sept. 15, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — The nutritional supplement industry, which picked up speed during the pandemic, is still expected to remain strong as 2023 approaches.

“During the COVID-19 health crisis, nutritional supplement sales skyrocketed as people wanted to improve their health, especially their immune systems,” said Mitch Gould, founder and CEO of Nutritional Products International, a global brand management company based in Boca Raton, FL. “While growth is no longer in double digits, the global nutritional supplement industry is still expected to grow from $61.2 billion in 2020 to $128.64 billion in 2028.”

Gould said consumers are focusing on their health now more than ever.

“Instead of waiting for their doctor to find something, people take nutritional supplements to keep the doctor healthy,” he added. “This is why nutritional supplements, such as curcumin, vitamin D, and immune boosters, have seen significant sales growth over the past two years.”

The reason behind the strong sales? More people are taking nutritional supplements than ever before.

“The Council for Responsible Nutrition conducts an annual survey of dietary supplements,” added Gould. “The first data for 2021 indicates that 80 percent of Americans are taking dietary supplements. This is the highest percentage ever measured.”

Gould said he expects nutritional supplements to continue their upward trend.

“We have the aging baby boomer generation, who use nutritional supplements for a variety of preventative reasons,” he said. “But even the younger consumers are overwhelmingly taking supplements.”

The CRN survey also notes that overall wellness, immune health, filling nutritional deficiencies, energy and hair, skin and nails are the top reasons people buy nutritional supplements.

NPI represents health, wellness and beauty brands that bring their innovative products to American consumers.

“Our customers see American consumers clamoring for nutritional supplements that keep them healthy,” Gould said. “They are no longer reactive, but proactive when it comes to their health.”

Gould said he created the “Evolution of Distribution” platform, which emphasizes speed to market and cost effectiveness in launching products in the Americas.

“NPI provides all the professional services manufacturers need to roll out new products in the United States,” he added. “NPI provides its customers with sales, marketing, logistics and federal regulatory compliance services.”
