Classic French cuisine made easy

You’ve seen the movie and thought about trying ratatouille at least once in your life. However, it is not really a luxury dish and so anyone can cook their own homemade ratatouille. It’s a classic southern France dish that actually comes from farms that had fresh produce and with eggplant, peppers, tomato and garlic as the main ingredients. The presentation makes it a fancy dish if you want it to.

Homemade ratatouille tips

As with most cooking, try to have your ingredients all cut and ready before you actually start cooking, otherwise known as miss op pee. The tomato has a great color, but you can also use different colored peppers. The recipe is quite easy to prepare and it’s all in the presentation if you serve it as an appetizer or side dish. Every vegetable gets a chance to shine in this classic dish.

Have you ever imagined cooking dishes from TV or movies. Homemade ratatouille is easier to make than you think and even tastier.
