Puma Yu’s, the bar/restaurant that grew out of the Side Hustle pop-up, is open on Oneta Street for dinner (described as “Thai drinking food”) and what sound like absolutely delicious drinks 4-10pm Wednesdays and Thursdays and 4 – 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and for brunch Sunday from 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Gyro Wrap is open downtown for all your nostalgic needs.

Ponko Chicken is open on Baxter Street, doing Japanese-style chicken tenders next door to Wingster and the dorms.

Blenderz is open in what used to be Frutta Bowls, at the foot of The Mark, and does bowls, paninis, wraps, juices and smoothies.

Cafe Racer’s food truck will be set up on the Eastside in the parking lot at 2085 Barnett Shoals Rd., near Green Acres Baptist Church and the Taco Bell, serving food and coffee swung Tuesday through Thursday from 7-10 a.m.

The fall harvest festival in favor of the Athens Farmers Market will be held on October 9 at The Hill (1800 Crescent Lane) for the first time in three years. Tickets are $125-$145 and take advantage of things like the SNAP doubling program.
