The Houston Texans have not been shy about the capabilities of their attack.
On the first game of scrimmage to come out of the halftime locker room, quarterback Davis Mills threw a 42-yard flea flick to receiver Brandin Cooks.
The Texans threw fleas last year with Mills: week 5 against the New England Patriots and week 18 against the Tennessee Titans. However, this particular flicker demonstrated the timeliness of the calls from new offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton.
The splash play resulted in the Texans capping the drive with a Ka’imi Fairbairn 43-yard field goal to extend their 13-3 lead over the Colts early in the third quarter.
